How To Close Update Windows 10
How are you mapping drives? Using group policy preferences, I used to take the list outset with a 'delete all' to get rid of any old maps. 10 would do what you lot're describing with that when GPO refreshed.

Bad drivers can cause this. In that location will too be an result in Event Viewer afterwards it happens that'll particular what commuter/application caused it to close. Resetting File Explorer'southward history tin can sometimes fix it.

You could always endeavour an sfc /scannow and see if anything occurs. But I'm withBig Green Man and I'd start with drivers...

I ran into this issue yesterday and it seemed to stalk from having re-named a couple of folder.
Explorer would crash when I attempted to open upwardly directly to the re-named folder, withal one time I opened upwardly explorer at a root binder and browsed back to the re-named binder, it seemed to work fine once more. So maybe a history issue like Big Light-green Man mentioned.

I detect this most with Edge, when i start boot upwardly the PC. It only decides it doesn't want to live anymore.

I've noticed this with UWP apps, only I haven't seen Win32 apps, like File Explorer, do this.

Bulldoze mapping might have something to practice with this. Are the drives automatically mapped?
Or manually i by one?

I have besides had this happen to me every once in a while, only like Ross42, seem to simply be after logging in. After a couple minutes it ordinarily works, only it is striking or miss on dissimilar devices.

Sorry for the long wait getting back to this!
It appears that the GP for mapping drives was ready to "Supercede". Changed that to "Update" and the issue seems to have disappeared!
Cheers for pointing me in the right direction!
